Pat Hitchcock was raised in St. Augustine, FL. She has been painting since her late teens for over 37 years.
She found out about decorative painting 25 years ago when she signed up for her first class, and was hooked.
She started teaching soon after for friends and neighbors who just couldn't believe that it was so easy.
Pat took classes from Chevalier Tucker who taught fine art and drawing. She studied with him for 3 years.
Pat has taken many weeks of classes with Johnnie Lilidahl in La Porte, Texas.
She has also taken workshops from many fine art and decorative artists, too numerous to list here.
Pat has been painting and teaching full time for 12 years now.
She has traveled in Taiwan and New Zealand, all over Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina,
Virginia and West Virginia to paint mostly Oils and Acrylics and a little Watercolor.
She also taught at the local community college for several years.
Pat is still traveling and teaching at her house in St. Augustine.
