Misun Holdorf was born in Seoul, Korea where she developed a talent for drawing at an early age. Although she expected to pursue a career with art, she rechanneled her dedication to a successful career with tha airline industry for 15 years. This provided her with extensive travel around the world from which she draws her inspiration which is vividly displayed in her art work where she represents landscapes, wildlife, and images from around the world.
Misun studied at the Art Institute in Seoul, Korea in 1990 and 1991, she again pursued her dream to become an artist, while studying art at the University of Guam, and in 2003 continued her studies in various art classes at the University of California Los Angeles.
